One of the key concepts of this game, “mimicry,” is incorporated into the design of the T-shirt. The background design features a high-density residential area from Kowloon Walled City, where the letters of “SLITTERHEAD” are subtly embedded. The “SLITTERHEAD” text is a reflective print, which glows when exposed to strong light, making the letters appear.
The model for this design is Akira Yamaoka, the composer who worked on the game music for Slitterhead.
